SURF MORE

Either on your own or with your favourite surf mates set a challenge for number of hours surfing in the month of April all while fundraising for a great cause.

FEEL GOOD

Many of the elements of surfing do great things for our mental wellbeing. Check out what the latest science has to say.

MAKE AN IMPACT

Raise money for programs that improve our wellbeing and help to prevent mental illness and reduce the risk of suicide.
All donations are tax deductable.

ABOUT THE CAUSE

An estimated 22% of Australians experience a mental disorder in a 12 month period (AIHW, 2024). That is why we have set the minimum surf goal of 22 hours alongside the ultimate goal to raise $2.2 million for initiatives that protect our mental health and wellbeing to prevent mental illness.

We believe that every Australian should have access to a lifestyle that protects their mental health and with only an estimated 1% of federal funding currently going into prevention we need your help to do it.

Funds raised by the Ripple Effect Wave Challenge will go directly into programs and initiatives that focus on enhancing mental wellbeing and make a positive impact on the health of Australians.
